We are a «single family» because we have the same charism hand over by the same Mother
We are a Religious Family founded by Blessed Mother Esperanza de Jesús Alhama Valera, who was born in Santomera (Murcia-Spain) on September 30, 1893. A woman of exceptional character, who developed an intense activity as an apostle of Merciful Love.
She consecrated and dedicated her entire life to the Lord and to the mission of making her known to all people as a Father and a tender Mother. This mission has been entrusted to the two Congregations that she founded:
On December 24, 1930, he founded the Congregation of the Slaves of Merciful Love in Madrid (Spain).
On August 15, 1951, he founded the Congregation of the Sons of Merciful Love in Rome (Italy).
We want, with our charism, to be a Family that makes Merciful Love visible in the Church and in the world, underlining the experience of «being the same family», «the same thing», as Jesus wanted (cf Jn 17:21)
