January 14 and 15 have been days characterized by study groups and assemblies on the themes about the youth and vocation, the ALAM and about the “Misma Familia (The same family)”.

With regard to the theme of the “Misma Familia”, in an atmosphere of serene sharing, many testimonies have been listened, with the narative of the beautiful presence of the Sisters since the beginning of the formation of the Capitulars. As children of the same Mother we are very grateful to the Lord for having inspired this gift of grace in her. Deep gratitude extends to all Handmaids of Merciful Love that we feel our older sisters for what they have given us and give us with their witness.

In a world where the role of the women in the society and in the church receive more atention and a new value, enhancing their creativity, particular sensitivity, intuition, feminine genius, motherhood and tenderness capable of caring, we believe it is urgent and we need a new form and ways to live the spirit of the “Misma Famili”.

The Sunday break is an opportunity for the capitulars to collaborate in the pastoral activity of the Shrine of Mercifull love, but also to find informal moments to tell the life experiences of our communities present in the various countries.

We want to thank the FAM Brothers, the EAM Sisters, the numerous Laity of Merciful Love and the many friends who continue to pray for this General Chapter.
