Priests and religious Brothers who announce Merciful Love dedicating themselves to the attention of diocesan priests.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
\n

Obedient to the voice of the Spirit,\u00a0on 15 August 1951<\/b>, in Rome, Mother Esperanza gave life to the Congregation of the Sons of Merciful Love.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey will bring help and relief to many needy and afflicted families, and consolation to the sick\u00a0; in them, the orphans will find a family, the young their guides, the weak their support, and those who have fallen the strength to get up.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

This text formulates the identity, the mission and the style of the Congregation of the FAM, which is composed of religious priests, brothers who accomplish their mission in their own house, brothers in civilian clothing engaged in secular activities, and diocesan priests with vows.<\/p>\n

The Congregation consists of four \u201cbranches.\u201d Here are the different forms of membership in the Congregation:<\/p>\n

    Diocesan priests with vows. (SDFAM)<\/u><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Congregation of the FAM is\u00a0called to manifest the Merciful Love above all by the holiness of its life<\/b>, through charitable works, of which the main one is the union with the\u00a0diocesan clergy<\/b>. The priests and the charitable works in favor of the poor are closely united as common objective.<\/p>\n

    A Congregation of Priests and Brothers who\u00a0proclaim the Merciful Love by dedicating themselves with attention to the diocesan priests<\/b>\u00a0and,\u00a0\u201cunited with these as brothers, they exercise with enthusiasm and only for love to our Lord, all other works of charity\u201d<\/i>\u00a0(Const. FAM, art. 18).<\/p>\n
